Who you're dealing with

The Named Home (thenamedhome.com) is operated by Jessie Trochez Maldonado, trading as The Named Home. When you use this site or buy Build Your Home Brand Kit, you are entering into an agreement with Jessie Trochez Maldonado. You can reach us at thenamedhome@gmail.com.

Acceptance

By browsing this site or buying the Kit you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. We may update these terms from time to time; continued use means you accept the updated version.

What we provide

The Named Home publishes editorial articles about giving a home an identity, and sells Build Your Home Brand Kit, a downloadable PDF workbook. The Kit is a digital product delivered immediately after payment. It is guidance and inspiration, not professional design, legal, financial or property advice.

Your licence to use the Kit

When you buy the Kit you get a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download it, print it, and use it for your own home and household. You may not resell it, redistribute it, publish it, or share the file publicly.

Intellectual property

All content on this site and inside the Kit, text, illustrations, photography, layout and branding, remains the property of Jessie Trochez Maldonado. Anything you write on the worksheets is yours. If you submit a home to our Real Homes wall, you give us permission to publish the words and photos you send us on this site and its social accounts; you can ask us to remove them at any time.

Acceptable use

You must not use this site unlawfully; submit fraudulent, abusive or spam content; infringe anyone's intellectual property; upload photos you don't have the right to share; or interfere with the security of the site, including scraping, probing, or introducing malicious code.

Accuracy of information

Please give accurate details at checkout and when submitting a home, and keep your contact email current so we can reach you about your order.

Payment and billing

Our order process is conducted by our online reseller Paddle.com. Paddle.com is the Merchant of Record for all our orders. Paddle provides all customer service inquiries and handles returns. Payment, billing, tax and cancellation mechanics are governed by Paddle's Buyer Terms. Prices are shown before you pay and may be presented in your local currency.

Refunds

We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee. See our Refund Policy for how to request one.

Service availability

We do our best to keep the site available and the download working, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free performance. Access may be interrupted for maintenance or reasons beyond our control.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or end your access to the site or the Kit if you materially breach these terms, don't pay, present a fraud or security risk, or repeatedly violate our acceptable-use rules.

Warranties and liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the site and the Kit are provided "as is" and we disclaim implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, and our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim. Nothing here excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury where the law does not allow it.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which Jessie Trochez Maldonado resides, and disputes will be handled by the courts of that jurisdiction.
