Who we are

What we collect and why

Email address, when you join our list or buy the Kit, so we can send the starter checklist, your download and occasional updates. Basis: consent, and performance of our contract with you.

Real Homes submissions, the home name, city and state, scent, flower, color, keepsake, treat, your story and any photo you upload, so we can publish it on the Real Homes wall. Basis: consent.

Support messages, whatever you write to us, so we can answer. Basis: legitimate interest in supporting our customers.

Technical data, IP address, device and browser details, and basic usage information collected automatically by our hosting, so we can keep the site secure and working. Basis: legitimate interest in security and service quality.

We do not collect or store your card details. Payment information is collected and processed directly by Paddle.

Who we share it with

Service providers who host the site and database and send our email; Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record, for selling the Kit, payments, invoicing and tax compliance; professional advisers such as accountants or lawyers where necessary; and public authorities where the law requires it. We do not sell your personal information.

How long we keep it

Email addresses are kept until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them. Real Homes submissions are kept while published, and removed on request. Order records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. Anything no longer needed is deleted or anonymised.

International transfers

Our providers may process data outside your country. Where that happens we rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, receive a copy in a portable format, withdraw consent, and complain to your data protection authority. Email thenamedhome@gmail.com and we'll respond within one month.

Security

We use appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encrypted connections, access controls and private storage for uploaded photos, to protect your information.

Cookies

We use essential cookies and local storage needed to run the site and complete checkout. Paddle sets cookies during checkout to process your payment and prevent fraud. You can manage or clear cookies in your browser settings; blocking essential ones may break checkout.
